So Genesis 1 explains the 6 days that God created;

• Earth (without form and void),
• Light (in this case let us assume this was the Sun.  This being said, wouldn’t it say this was the sun?),
• Day (we now decide that darkness is night and light is day),
• Land( we now decide that instead of everything being earth only dry land is earth),
• Grass(and herb yielding seed),
• Trees(that yield fruit),
• Moon ( 2 great lights, one to rule day and one to rule night),
• Animals ( this is explained in multiple sections that repeat themselves, and are all of his(Gods) kind,
  • (Wales and every other creature of the sea),
  • (Fowl that fly above the earth))
• Living Creatures (Cattle and creeping things),
• Man(male and female in our image, after our likeness. We also give control of everything to man)

So first earth was created as everything with no form and empty. Then Light, which is changed to day, and the darkness becomes night. Earth is then decided to be the land that has been created separating the waters. Then grass and trees are made.

Instead of light we now have 2 great lights the sun and the moon.  It is said that the Sun and Moon rule over day (light) and night (darkness),

And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.

In this context it appears as at one point in time someone questioned what stars were so they had to amend the passage to include the stars. This is a good question as if the bible is the answer to all why are stars not described when creating light.

It is also described light is in heaver and shine upon the earth.

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

The first thing that pops into my mind when reading this statement is that heaven is the sun.

Then we get to animals,

And God said , Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creatures that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

This part has some logic, most creatures on earth are mostly made of water. However we now have fowl that can fly to heaven, this is the first major flaw I know will start a good debate. If fowl can fly to heaven how have we not discovered it yet. We now have planes and space ships that can fly far higher than any fowl on earth.

Finally we are told that the earth is ours and everything on earth has been given to us.

God took six days to make Earth, Light, Day, Land, Grass, Trees, The Sun, The Moon, All animals/creatures, and Man. We are also told to populate the earth and everything on it is ours.
